On Wednesday evening, last season's Coppa Italia winner, Inter, will welcome Bologna in this season's Coppa Italia 1/8 Finals at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza / San Siro in Milan. 

Last season, Inter won "only" Coppa Italia and were super close to winning the Champions League as they lost 1:0 vs Manchester City in a very close match. Last season, we saw a big improvement as they finished 9th, only two away from the European spots. This season, The Red and Blues are having the best start to the season in Serie A in a long time, as they hold 4th place with 28 points. Still, the gap between Inter and Bologna is already 13 points.

However, the defense is getting better as the season progresses, considering they kept a clean sheet in the last four games against great competition - Napoli, Udinese, Real Sociedad, and Lazio. 

Bologna are playing well and are in good form, no doubt about it. They won three of the last four games, but we have to mention they had a somewhat easier schedule. Also, most of their good results this season came at home, while they won just once in eight road games.

At this moment, very few teams can compete with Inter. Even though Bologna are playing well, we believe that Neroazzuri are simply too good, and we expect them to secure another comfortable win at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
