Two sides separated by nine points in the English top flight meet on Thursday night as Brighton & Hove Albion host Postecoglou’s Tottenham.
The hosts made a flying start to the 2023-24 season with five wins from their first six games but that form has waned, especially in the league. While Roberto De Zerbi's men finished the Europa League group stage at the top of their group, they are currently ninth in the Premier League and boast just one from their last five league encounters.
Tottenham are also one of those teams who started the season on a high. Ange Postecoglou's side went unbeaten in their first ten league games, winning eight and drawing two but injuries derailed their progress. However, boss Postecoglou has found a different formula that is working, as Spurs have picked up three wins from their last three games, beating Newcastle, Forest and Everton with an aggregate score of 8:2.
Brighton vs Tottenham Betting Tips: Both teams to score
Wins have been hard to come by for Brighton in recent weeks, but they rarely fail to score. The Seagulls have only failed to score in one of their 18 league games this season, and that was the defeat to leaders Arsenal. The sad thing is that they haven't finished a single league game this season without conceding.
Since the introduction of Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham's head coach, Spurs' games have been extremely entertaining. Only 5 of the visitors' 18 league games this season have produced fewer than 2.5 goals. Both teams did not score in only one of their last nine fixtures.
