A vital Europa League contest is set for the Aker Stadion on Thursday as Molde takes on Qarabag in Group H.

Locked together on six points from four matches played, both teams could secure their place in the next round with victory on Thursday. Having lost 1:0 in Azerbaijan earlier this season, Molde must win by two clear goals to guarantee a place in the next phase. For Qarabag, any form of victory would be enough to take them into the final stages of the competition.

With that in mind, we should see a competitive and high-paced contest on Thursday where both teams will be desperate to claim a likely decisive victory.

Of course, goals can usually be expected when Molde are in action, either domestically or in European competitions. At least four goals have been scored in seven of the Norwegian's last eight home matches while four of their last five home fixtures also saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

In addition, each of Molde´s last five home EL matches saw BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. Both of those outcomes also occurred in seven of Molde´s ten most recent EL contests. 

While Qarabag are not quite as consistent in those markets, the visitors have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last seven away EL ties. 

Ultimately, with qualification on the line, this game could go either way. An early goal would likely open the door to a high-scoring affair but I do expect BTTS at least on Thursday.
