Walsall, former second division, are playing their fourth consecutive season in League Two (the fourth tier of English football). The last two campaigns were much closer to moving to a lower rank than to a return to the third tier. The popular "The Saddlers" somehow endured the difficult start of the season, and in the last two months they have significantly improved their form, so now they are in the game for positions that lead in the play-offs. They are currently 11th in the table with 37 points won, which is only four less than the seventh-placed Braford City.
In the meantime, Leicester City has not looked like the team from the 2015/16 season when they left all the English giants behind and won the Premier League title. However, "The Foxes" are playing unexpectedly bad this season, and this is best shown by the performance of only five triumphs from 20 games played. Brendan Rodgers' chosen are currently positioned in a worrying 14th position with 18 points won, which means that only one point separates them from the relegation zone, so there is no doubt that they will have a turbulent season until the very end.
Walsall vs Leicester City Betting Tips: Under 3.5
Saturday's game will be the sixth meeting between Walsall and Leicester City in all competitions. Rodgers' The Foxes proved to be a more successful rival, since they came out as winners four times in those five clashes.
However, it should be borne in mind that their last competitive duels date back to the long-ago season of 2008/09. In contrast to that period, Leicester has now grown into one of the best clubs on the island.
Walsall can't boast of their FA Cup results in recent years. The Saddlers, in fact, with a 2-1 triumph over Stockport (3rd round) secured the fourth round of this competition for only the second time in the previous 15 editions.
The defensive segment is the thing that most adorns the West Midlands club this season. They conceded 22 goals, and only the first two in the table - Leyton Orient (16) and Stevenage (18) are better than them by that parameter.
One gets the impression that the break due to the World Cup totally disrupted Leicester's great momentum that they had before the interruption of the EPL. The Foxes tied five games without defeat, of which they lost four times.
Form, in fact, is not the only problem of the East Midlands club. How much they miss James Maddison is best shown by the fact that Leicester have finished four of their last seven competitive games without scoring a goal.
Walsall will do everything to throw Leicester out of the rhythm, and we believe that they will not have a difficult task to do that, since The Foxes' games remind those from the start of the season when they languished at the very bottom of the table. So, everything suggests that this could be a quiet duel with not too much action.

Walsall Team News
Walsall will definitely be without the services of long-injured duo Joe Riley and Joss Labadie. They were recently joined by Jack Earing who suffered a knee injury in training ahead of the FA Cup match.
Coach Michael Flynn will not be able to threaten Leicester in the right way, as 29-year-old centre-forward Danny Johnson (30 games / 15 goals) has returned to Mansfield Town after his loan contract expired.

Leicester City Team News
Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers is facing personnel problems. He will definitely still be without the help of James Justin (Achilles), Ryan Bertrand (Knee) and Boubakary Soumare (Hamstring) due to injuries.
Jonny Evans, Ricardo Pereira, Dennis Praet and Ayoze Perez are all marked as questionable, and what pleases the fans is the return of James Maddison who played the last 22 minutes against Brighton.
