With all due respect to the other 1/4 finals couples, this is the most anticipated match of the World Cup quarterfinals.

Two national teams aiming to win the gold trophy. England reached the quarter-finals quite easily. After the rhapsody in the first game and the victory over Iran 6:2, they played a much weaker match against the USA that ended without goals, so coach Gareth Southgate received a lot of criticism for the selection of players and the management of his team. England vs France pick: OVER 2.5 GOALS

These national teams have a rich history of mutual matches, but it is interesting that this will be their first match since the one at Euro 2012, which ended with a score of 1:1. So far, they have met twice at WC and England won in both matches back in 1966 and 1982. At the Euro, however, France has much more success, where they have not lost to England even in 6 matches. These teams are loaded with talent and I expect a very interesting and high-quality match. The stakes are high, but I don't think that will stop the players from showing their best performances

Some logic tells me that Southgate could start this match with 5 players in the back line, which would double the defenders in an attempt to slow down Kylian Mbappe, but the question is how much he wants to give up his tactics that have brought results so far. France has certain deficiencies in the defensive midfield in the absence of Kante because the young Tchouameni is not that quality, but for now, his teammates cover him brilliantly. I think we could see at least one goal in the first 20 minutes, and that would be great because we would be watching a much better and more open match. The odds for over 2.5 goals are pretty good.
