Gadbach will be looking for a win that will ensure they finish round 15 of the Bundesliga season in the top half of the standings when they host Werder Bremen on Friday night.
A top 10 finish is nothing new for the hosts, as it has been a long time since they finished outside the top half. Ole Werner's side hosted FC Augsburg last weekend, looking to end a run of four consecutive league games without a win that saw them concede nine goals. The River Islanders didn't only take all three points but kept a clean sheet and will be looking to build on that result on Friday.

Gladbach head coach Gerardo Seoane will once again be without long-term absentees Jonas Omlin, Ko Itakura and Hannes Wolf on Friday due to injuries.
The pair are joined on the sidelines by the likes of Lukas Ullrich, Tony Jantschke, Jordan, Manu Koné and Robin Hack who are also dealing with injuries.
Alassane Pléa and Tomáš Čvančara – who have ten goals between them this season – are expected to keep their places in the starting eleven despite the humiliating defeat to Union Berlin last time out, but Christoph Kramer could be demoted to the bench.
