Fulham will be looking to continue their recent impressive form on Saturday afternoon when they face Newcastle United away from home.
The hosts had a great start to the month of December, beating Manchester United at this ground but things have not gone well since then. Defence has been their major problem in the last three games. The Magpies hosted Milan last time out, looking to end a two-game losing streak and secure at least a Europa League place from the Champions League group of death. Eddie Howe's side were once again on the losing side and will be desperate to return to winning ways this weekend.
Fulham were always going to miss Alexandar Mitrovic, and they did, scoring just ten goals in their first twelve league games of the 2023-24 season. Marco Silva's side seem to have got to grips with that problem though, as they scored at least three goals in each of their last four games. The Cottagers won three of those games and should therefore fancy their chances this weekend.

Fulham boast a win and five goals in each of their last two games, but both games were on home soil. Marco Silva’s men are winless away from home in the league since the win over Everton on match day one.

Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe will once again be without the services of Sandro Tonali who is currently suspended for breaching gambling rules.
The Italian is joined on the hosts’ list of suspensions by Kieran Trippier who picked up his fifth yellow card of the Premier League campaign in the defeat to Tottenham last weekend.
Dan Burn featured as a substitute against Milan after his return from injury, but Harvey Barnes, Nick Pope, Joe Willock, Matt Targett, Elliot Anderson, Jacob Murphy and Sven Botman are still in the treatment room.
