Championship leaders Leicester will be determined to maintain their grip at the top of the division when they take on Birmingham at St Andrew´s on Monday.

Leicester arrives in Birmingham in great form this season and in recent weeks. The Foxes sit top of the Championship having lost just three of 21 matches played. One point ahead of Ipswich in second spot but ten points clear of third-placed Leeds, Leicester already look well-placed to make an immediate return to the Premier League.

In recent weeks, Enzo Maresca´s men have been in particularly good form with 13 points collected from their last five matches. Especially efficient away from home, the Foxes have bagged eight wins from their last ten road matches although they have kept just one clean sheet in nine away fixtures.

Hosts Birmingham have struggled to find any consistency under new boss Wayne Rooney. The Blues come into Monday night´s match with just two wins in their last ten matches, of which six ended in defeat. 

Still, at home, Rooney´s men have been tough to beat with only one loss from their last ten home matches. The Blues won four and drew four of those games.

With their solid home form, and having bagged two goals or more in four of their last six at St Andrews, Birmingham should have enough quality to at least get on the scoresheet. However, with Leicester in such good form, an away win with both teams scoring seems the likeliest outcome for Monday´s Championship encounter.
