Having been stifled by QPR last weekend, Bournemouth target a return to winning ways away in south Wales this midweek. They face Cardiff, who edged past Preston after Sheyi Ojo's first goal on-loan from Premier League champions Liverpool.

The goal came from seemingly nowhere. Joe Ralls' booming header clear from the edge of his area set Kieffer Moore forward and after skipping past two challenges, Cardiff had a breakaway.

He fed Ojo, overlapped him before daring the winger to shoot. Ojo obliged, smashing home past Declan Rudd into the top corner defence into a goal in 11 seconds.

Neil Harris will be asking for more of that here, albeit in sustained periods, when they face a tougher test against their first relegated Premier League opposition of the campaign.

Bournemouth kept their second clean sheet in three games at home vs. QPR. It wasn't the result head coach Jason Tindall or his players wanted, given their encouraging start this term, but it could've been worse.

Asmir Begovic made two big saves to thwart Bright Osayi-Samuel and Macauley Bonne in the first-half, while Dominic Solanke came close on two occasions for the hosts.

Arnaut Danjuma and Junior Stanislas were both second-half substitutes but both should start in midweek. It's clear Solanke needs creative support in the final third and England under-21 forward Sam Surridge is inconsistent.
