Ryan Hollingshead was excellent defensively and equally in the final third, as the fullback scored his second goal in as many games against SKC to clinch a gritty 1-0 win. Teed up by Bryan Reynolds' looping cross from the far side, he side-footed beyond Timothy Melia, who could only watch helplessly as it crashed in off the post.

Hollingshead also made six interceptions, a pair of tackles and successful dribbles, one clearance and key pass on October 15. He was unplayable. It's important his teammates follow suit against a Dallas side who sit sixth in the Western Conference on 24 points, with games in hand over the teams above them.

Nashville's win by contrast, saw them create separation from three Eastern Conference teams into ninth place. They are four points off the play-offs, but also have played fewer than their rivals sitting above them right now.

As such, head coach Gary Smith will be inclined to stick with the majority of players who started their 3-1 win over Houston Dynamo. Hany Mukhtar had a first-half brace while Abu Danladi scored one and created another before both were replaced at half-time, presumably with rest and this game in mind.

It's tempting to look at form and judge the pair solely on that, as Dallas are probably favourites and beat better opposition in third-placed Kansas City last week. However, Nashville are the hosts and have already beaten them once before. Whether the Mukhtar-Danladi combination can continue flourishing could be key in this one.
