The match has ended, you can view football predictions for today and football predictions for tomorrow.

After successive draws to start the new La Liga campaign, Real Sociedad earned comfortable away win at Elche's expense last weekend. The onus is on them to continue their unbeaten form against tricky opposition in Valencia, who finished three points behind them last term.

Having endured a three-match losing streak in their H2H matchups, Sociedad are now three unbeaten against Los Che. They'd love to start the new week with another win, similar to their 3-0 result at Valencia's expense back in late February last season.

Will it be as simple as that though, against a newlook side under Javi Gracia's guidance? Read my match preview, for the correct score predictions and best betting tips ahead of this fixture.

Real Sociedad vs Valencia Betting Tips

After a four-year absence from management in Spain's top-flight, Gracia has been greeted with a tricky challenge as Valencia's new head coach. Although he began his reign with a 4-2 home win over Levante on September 13, they've lost and dropped points against winnable opposition since.

A 2-1 defeat by Celta Vigo - who narrowly avoided relegation last term - was followed by an underwhelming 1-1 draw with league newcomers Huesca on Saturday. Geoffrey Kondogbia and goalscorer Daniel Wass were their best performers on a frustrating afternoon, which doesn't bode well for Tuesday's clash.

They travel to San Sebastian with a Sociedad side unbeaten since early July (six league games) up next. There were impressive displays across the pitch, including from the substitutes' bench, as Real cruised to a 3-0 win over Elche.

They recorded 27 shots and could've had more goals too - but it'll be interesting to see how they line up here. Adnan Januzaj (penalty) and Roberto Lopez provided the icing on the proverbial cake, but will either be rewarded with starts in a side with competition aplenty for places?

Real Sociedad vs Valencia Correct Score Predictions

Sociedad boast a superior H2H record against Valencia (11 wins, four defeats, three draws) and will want to build on from Saturday's victory. Winning this isn't straightforward though, which is why I'm instead predicting BTTS against their unpredictable visitors here.
